We're delighted to say our new storage container is in place and we're all moved in, thanks to two very generous partners.
The Cheltenham & District Clay Club have kindly given us space for the container and have been so accommodating from the very first conversation. Boxtor supplied the container and gave us a large discount to support a community group. The Group paid for the container itself, so their generosity made a real difference. Thank you both!
Until now, our kit has been spread across volunteers' homes and garages, which made it hard to know what we had, keep it in good condition, and get it out for meetings and camps. Now, for the first time, all of our Group kit is together in one place. We're asset tagging every item and managing it through Scoutworks, so our volunteers can see what we have and where it is. That also means the kit is looked after properly and will last for years.
There's still a little more to do. We'll be adding shelving to make the most of the space, and putting a sealant on the roof to protect it.
Thank you again to the Clay Club and Boxtor for helping us get here.
