We've got a 10ft by 8ft storage container ready for the Group's kit, including camping, cooking, activity and event equipment, and it's just waiting to be delivered. Our kit has to move from the local farm where it's been kept, so we urgently need somewhere to put the container.
Why it matters
Every week our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts get stuck into adventures that need kit, from tents and cooking gear to games and equipment for our events. A container keeps everything safe, dry and in one place, so our volunteers spend less time hunting for kit and more time running brilliant sessions.
What we're looking for
- in or around Gotherington, Bishop's Cleeve or Stoke Orchard, though we're happy to go a little further
- a firm, level surface such as gravel or concrete, with room for a 10ft by 8ft container
- lorry access for delivery
- access for our leaders when they need kit, not daily or 24/7
It could be a farmyard, a business yard, a club, a car park or a spare bit of hardstanding. We'll keep it tidy and respectful of the space.
How you'd be helping
By giving our container a home, you'd be directly supporting around 70 young people in Gotherington to camp, explore and learn skills for life. We'd love to thank you properly on our website and social media.
If you think you might be able to help, or know someone who could, please get in touch.
